Today less than 0.1% of our heating, transportation and power energy comes from direct sunlight although it is now possible to meet half of our energy needs with this renewable resource.

As gas prices and the cost of electricity skyrocket the time for solar energy in Mexico is now. Because of San Miguel’s geographical location closer to the equator, and our high altitude and excellent year-round sunshine, the San Miguel region has some of the best solar energy production production in the world. Everyone has heard that the world is running out of fossil fuels, but too few seem to understand the implications for the lives of our children and their children.
What We Do.
Solar San Miguel designs, markets and installs a wide range of photovoltaic solar electric systems, solar hot water heating systems, and wind power generators for the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. We work with homeowners, hotels and businesses who wish to be energy independent, or to save money on gas and electricity. We also work with builders, architects and developers who wish to include solar and wind power components into their building plans and designs.
